Google+ Profiles/Pages
We’ve added a new Google+ Profile/Page “Add to Circles” system. Google+ is google’s answer to Facebook. People can add your page and your profile to their circles which are equivalent to “friends” and “likes”.
This new feature is in beta and may be very buggy. Let us know if you experience any weirdness or issues.
A Few Changes
We’ve made a few changes to the site as I’m sure you can see!
– You can now see your Points/Premium time from all settings pages and the history page.
– New accounts now get 50 Points after activating.
– You can now add up to 10 Facebook pages to your account instead of just 5.
– You can now add up to 5 Twitter accounts to your account instead of just 3.
– Added the “Ethics” section, please read and follow!
We’re always interested to hear suggestions and idea’s that will help better YouLikeHits. Let us know what you think!
“Somebody already added me page…”
You should be able to add your Facebook page again if you got the “Somebody already added your page” error.
Anti-Spam
We’ve added yet another spam fighting check to our site. Each fan page can only be added 3 times total on the site. We had some pages that were added over 90 times. (Obviously these guys were cheating and now don’t have any accounts and were IP banned)
If your page was deleted and you can’t add it again please email us at webmaster@porcelainsky.com with your YouLikeHits username and proof that you own the page.
We apologize for any inconvenience this might have caused but this is a necessary step in preventing fake accounts from being made and polluting the YouLikeHits economy.
The Test
We’ve been getting some users that claim that they’re not getting Facebook Likes but they’re spending Points. This is not possible. Our system doesn’t give Points out unless the page is verified to have increased their Like count.
I decided to put this to the test and see how well our system does work. Yesterday I created a local business page on Facebook for a Jewelery Store.
In less than 12 hours the page received 420 Likes via YouLikeHits and of those 402 are currently on the page. That’s only an 18 out of 420 drop rate.
Remember that this system will only continue to strive if people don’t Unlike pages.
Please continue to support us by Liking pages and never Unliking them.
Facebook Accounts
We’ve added stronger requirements to Facebook Accounts that are added to YouLikeHits for Liking pages. This is to help prevent fake accounts being made on Facebook and increase the number of likes given from main accounts. Newer Facebook pages will get errors explaining how to prove that their page is real and used frequently before actually being added to our system.
Because of the new requirements everyone’s Facebook Accounts were removed and will need to be added again. Facebook Pages were not removed. We apologize if this causes any inconvenience this may have caused.
Thank you for using YouLikeHits!
Becoming Premium
You can now become Premium with Follows! Previously the only ways you could become Premium was by purchasing Points or giving 200 Likes. Now, you can also give 200 Follows and get Premium!
Facebook Page Removal & Twitter Following
Facebook Page Removal
Some users are getting a message in their History stating that their Facebook Page was removed because the privacy settings were not set to “Everyone”. Some of these were removed in error and you can simply add your page again now. The bug will not remove your page anymore.
Twitter Following
We just found and fixed a bug in the Twitter following confirmation. In the past there was certain occasions where a user would Follow someone and the Confirm button would simply not confirm the follow. We found what was causing the error and it should not happen anymore.
YouTube Update
We are still working on the YouTube section. We are currently in the process of removing the views section and adding a subscriber section instead. We will post an update when it is ready for testing.
Thank you for your patience.
Facebook Likes Verification
We are aware that there are some issues with verifying your Facebook Likes. We’re looking into the issue and hope to have it fixed soon.
Thank you for your patience.
Update: We have fixed the issues.
